What to Expect

“Murder Mysteries Will Travel” delivers a highly interactive evening filled with excitement, intrigue, and laughter

“We make any event more fun and memorable”

As your guests are gathering and arriving, our actors work the room and tell your guests they will be taking part in a Murder Mystery. We ask guests if they would like to be an actor/character in the show. If they agree, we provide them with a “script card” which outlines the character they will be playing during the show. If a guest prefers to be an observer, we always respect that preference.

After the script cards have been distributed, our actors begin the show and 5-10 minutes into the show a murder occurs. A detective is called and while waiting for the detective to arrive, we gather clues from the characters (guests), after which we break for intermission.

Second Act: the show resumes, a coded note is found which your guests help solve. Clues abound and the murderer is revealed. At the end of the murder mystery, the guest who comes closest to solving the murder receives a “Crime Solvers Reward” which is an illustrated edition of “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.”

A FEW TIPS FOR A FANTASTIC MURDER

Dress the part! Get into the fun by donning your best detective attire or channeling the fashion of the era. The more you immerse yourself in the world of the mystery, the more fun you’ll have solving it.

Don’t be shy—interact with the characters! They are as much a part of the show as the plot itself. Ask them questions, listen to their stories, and gather clues. You never know which innocent smile might be hiding a guilty secret.

Make your best guess, but don’t be too serious about it! The beauty of a murder mystery is that it keeps you guessing until the very end. Feel free to share your theories with other guests and enjoy the playful banter. Remember, it’s all about the journey, not just the destination.

Laughter is not only allowed but encouraged! Engage with the comedic elements of the performance, and who knows, you might just stumble upon a clue while sharing a hearty laugh.
